The Best 7 Everyday Quotes From Sir Benjamin Franklin

Recently I started reading to my kids the illustrated book ” The amazing Life of Benjamin Franklin”. Even when is a book for kids I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to adults. In spite of that he lived more than 200 years ago, his legacy is timeless and fresh.

According to his biography, Franklyn was one of the seventeen children, and the youngest of ten sons. Since he was smart and loved to read he was relieved of having to make candles and soap in his father’s shop. Instead he was allowed to apprentice in his brother print shop, launched his career as a printer and journalist, and by age of 18 he owned his own print shop. His accomplishments, indeed has been equaled for few Americans. The tittle of the ”wisest American” is good earned. However, to Ben’s great sorrow, his only son, William sided with Great Britain. As a result, their relationship was almost inexistent.

Hope you enjoy this short list. Please feel free to share your favorite facts and quotes about him in the comments
